Vortex Sound got its start a long, long time ago, in a state far, far away: Kansas. There was this questionably eccentric child that made dumb noises and ran around smacking his head too many times to be considered normal. Upon going to school for something entirely unrelated to the field that child grew up to work in, he realized it was his destiny to try to put those dumb noises into computers. This child made friends, learned collaboration, and other fancy tricks of the entertainment trade to make it sound like he knew what he was doing. After moving to the sunshiny and traffic laden concrete jungles of LA, he began assisting around sound facilities & somehow managed to learn a thing or two about sound effects. That's where our journey begins friend - excited to have you here!
